If your BadgeHelp programs are not loading up (your computer runs super slow or it crashes the computer) then please follow these instructions for disabling your antivirus. We recently noticed that McAfee in particular is causing the problems. You can set it to disable the antivirus for a specific amount of time (like 15 minutes). Just follow these instructions.

McAfee Virus Only

1. Step1

   Move your mouse pointer to the toolbar at the lower right corner of your computer's desktop. Click on the arrow button facing towards the left to expand the system tray area.

2. Step2
   
   The System Icon

   Find the red "M" icon for the McAfee Anti-Virus program in the expanded system tray. Right-click on it.

3. Step3

   Look for an option in the new menu that will pop up that says either "Exit" or "Disable" and click on it.

4. Step4

   Click "Yes" on the pop up box that will appear asking if you are sure you want to disable the McAfee Anti-Virus program. Double-click on the McAfee desktop icon, or re-start the computer entirely to enable the program again.

McAffee Security Center

5. Step1

   Locate the red "M" icon in the system tray at the bottom right corner of the desktop. Double click on it to open the Security Center program.

6. Step2

   Click on the "Advanced" tab and then choose the option labeled as "Configure."

7. Step3

   Click on the "Files" button on the top toolbar. Click on the "Disable" button at the center of the screen.

8. Step4

   Enter in a time for the program to automatically turn back on in the text field at the right or, instead, re-start the computer to turn it back on.
