OK... installed 0.7... seems to run slower than the previous 0.5 and 0.6 versions. It solved 2 of 3 puzzles on Medium level. As the puzzle progresses, the agent seems to start slowing down. On the puzzle it did not solve (at least not without help) it left a piece on the puzzle drawer during initial piece collection.. It also appears that once it places the upper right corner piece that it will eventually grab it and move it, although it did use the hint at the end to place the corner and all attached pieces.. On hard level it seems to not place an inordinate amount of pieces within the puzzle and will place most of them near the end and with hints.. Run a WHOLE lot better than 0.6, but I would say it still needs a little tweaking.
As always keep up the great work and efforts.

Oscar, I like that the agent removes the puzzle pieces in groups from the trays, but it leaves a few behind. Then it uses up the hints, does not complete the puzzle and gives up. This is on easy at the beginning of the game. I will send a TSR when I get my activation code.

Seems to at least be working but I have to finish the puzzle myself as after the first 3 mins. Can not leave running all night because it kicks me off. because it gets stuck. If I want to finish the puzzle I need to watch it and do it myself. Still needs more tweaking

I submitted a TSR for WINDOWS 2000 using JIGSAW GPS 0.7. The problems in WINDOWS 2000 have been consistent. Here is a capsulization of them problems.
JIGSAW GPS 0.7 gets stuck in a feedback loop. It does the "sweep" of pieces, picking them all up. It will then look at the reference picture. It will then randomly place a piece somewhere, often back in the drawer. Finally, it will start "sweeping" again. It will do this and only this as long as I let it run.
It has solved zero puzzles in any incarnation. Difficulty level does not matter. JIGSAW GPS 0.7 has yet to finish a single puzzle in WINDOWS 2000. I am available for CROSSLOOP on this.

I summitted a TSR for VISTA using JIGSAW GPS 0.7, where I had slightly improved results.
In VISTA, JIGSAW GPS 0.7 is actually doing something with the puzzle pieces. It nearly solved a puzzle. It had eight pieces remaining. One piece was left in the drawer. :( Seven pieces were placed by JIGSAW GPS 0.7 on the top border ABOVE the puzzle. Six of them where stacked on top of each other in the approximate middle of the top border. The last piece was left in the top right corner of the border. I am thinking that this piece was "left" there by JIGSAW GPS 0.7 during the "sweep" of pieces.
Let me know if you need more TSR or more testing on JIGSAW GPS 0.7, otherwise I await version 0.8 or higher.

Oscar, Thank you for the update. Version 0.7 runs much better than the previous versions, however, it will not complete a puzzle without manual assistance. I've tried it on all levels. It still needs a bit of tweaking. I cannot let the agent run and leave the computer.
