I ran FLANKS 4.2 for the Premium Challenge DESERT NIGHTS in ON THE GO ALBUM. I started from scratch and played on BEGINNER skill level. FLANKS 4.2 was able to get the badge four straight times. It was taking about 5-6 minutes to get to a jackpot spin, which works. It was also dropping a lot of groups and doing a lot of matches.

If people are going for DESERTS NIGHTS, they should play on BEGINNER. I tried other levels and they did not work. I am not sure what level would work best for VALLEY OF THE KINGS weekly challenge, but Beginner or Easy should work fine.

TY for your advice on the DESERT NIGHTS challange. I played all of the first game except for the bonus round and let agent take over to do the rest of the games and it got my badge with two minutes to spare.:)

I successfully ran FLANKS 4.2 on two computers and got the VALLEY OF THE KINGS badges (5000 matches) in about 3 hours. Both were VISTA computers. On the 4GHz/4GB machine, I played on BEGINNER. On the 2GHz/2GB machine, I played on EASY. Neither machine played well on any setting above EASY.

Results:
Playing on beginner, badge was attained in about 2.75 hours on the 4G machine. The speed slider was all the way to the left. Simultaneously, the Premium badge AQUARIUS (200 rounds completed) and the Mix badge PHARAOH'S GOLD (4000 matches) were active and won. FLANKS 4.2 handled the badge popup windows correctly.

Playing on easy, badge was attained in about 3.25 hours on the 2G machine. The speed slider was all the way to the left. No other challenges were activated. On three occasions, FLANKS got stuck right before the pile came crashing down. It was doing the aim/aim/no shoot routine. I think this was due to speed setting. After kick starting the client three times, I placed the slide on bar away from the left and could not replicate the error.

I downloaded the new versions of MADJONG 4.1 and previously 4.0

4.0 kept getting stuck and did not match all eight seasons tile sets. 4.1 just plain does not work. I am on the Rabbit set and the client MADJONG 4.1 thinks it is Year of the RAM! It is just sitting there.

I had previously had problems with Flanks and reported it.

Now I downloaded the "fixed" FLANKS...guess what? It is still not working properly.

Really needed this one this week..lol.

It gets lost, stuck, and takes forever to shoot, when it does decide to.

Thanks Joe C, I could not get the new madjong to work either, it freezes after one game. Flanks on my vista system plays like Battle Phlinx, it took about 4 hours worked the best on beginner, only hung up one time, much better improvement.

Any word on the TSR I submitted for PINOCHLE PLAYER 0.5? PINOCHLE PLAYER 0.5 plays well in VISTA except that it does not click the START button on the WAITING FOR PLAYER(S) pop up window. I remember your various successes fixing the VISTA popup window problems in most other multiple-player games. As always, in VISTA, the client misses just slightly.

I know that I also asked for the slide bar to choose how much we bid in case we have to play a challenge like that. This issue is secondary for me, but might be important to other users.

Thanks!!!

I did not check if it was actually trying to win or doing a good job at winning. Thanks for pointing this out, I will check how well it plays once we get a client that can click "Start"

Thanks for the assist
